Christian Pradier (born in 1949) is a renowned French ceramist who embarked on his artistic journey by enrolling at the Arts Décoratifs in Paris in 1967. In 1971, he initiated his apprenticeship at the Terre et Feu Atelier in Paris where he honed his exceptional craftsmanship. 
In 1977, he relocated to Tarn in Garonne, where he expanded his repertoire, engaging in a large ceramic production, including some exquisite ceramic lamps and animal sculptures.
