Vintage Venini Murano Glass Chandelier

Elegant and sculptural Murano glass chandelier by Venini, Italy, 1970s. This pendant features a dense arrangement of vertically suspended clear glass tubes that form a cylindrical shade around the internal light sources.
A second layer of smaller tubes make the bottom of the chandelier to hide the inner structure. All the tubes are cut to give the illusion of a flat bottom and hang from a polished metal frame, creating a clean, architectural silhouette.

When lit, the glass rods catch the light and produce a soft, diffused glow with subtle reflections, a wonderful balance of transparency and texture. The vertical rhythm of the glass gives the chandelier a modernist presence while still maintaining Venini’s signature craftsmanship and sense of luxury.
