Venini Three-Tier Wall Sconces with Clear Glass Tubes

Elegant and architectural wall sconces by Venini, crafted in Italy during the 1970s. These fixtures are composed of three cascading tiers of hand-blown Murano glass tubes, each piece meticulously formed with Venini’s signature clarity and precision. The transparent glass elements are suspended from a polished metal frame, and painted arms creating a layered effect that plays beautifully with light.

When illuminated, the glass refracts and amplifies the glow, producing a subtle, shimmering radiance. The tiered composition gives the sconces both sculptural presence and airy lightness — a distinctive balance that defines Venini’s modernist Murano work.

Venini is one of Murano’s most influential glasshouses, founded in 1921 by Paolo Venini and Giacomo Cappellin. Known for its innovative collaborations with leading architects and designers, Venini blended traditional Venetian glass techniques with modern aesthetics. The company introduced iconic forms and colors, pushing Murano glass into the realm of fine art and design. Throughout the 20th century, Venini gained international recognition for its craftsmanship, experimentation, and timeless elegance, becoming a symbol of Italian luxury and design excellence.
