Pair of Lene Regius Ceramic Table Lamps

Striking pair of scnadinavian mid-century ceramic table lamps in a sculptural Brutalist idiom, executed in richly textured stoneware with strong architectural presence by the Danish artist Lene Regius.

Each lamp features a faceted, columnar base with deeply incised vertical lines and applied relief motifs, enhanced by a contrasting dark glaze that flows organically over a warm, iron-rich clay body. The expressive glazing and tactile surface treatment reflect the influence of studio pottery.
The lamps retain their original hand-thrown character, with visible turning rings to the underside and the signature of the artist within the base, indicating studio production.

Newly rewired and paired with custom cylindrical linen shades, these lamps offer a refined balance between raw materiality and modern elegance.
